Welcome!
I am a Professor of Gerontology at the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein. Prior I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bremen at the SOCIUM Research Center on Inequality and Social Policy. From 2016 to 2018 I was the the head of the research unit “Work, Economy and Technology” at the Institute of Gerontology in Dortmund. From 2012 to 2016 I was a PhD student at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) at the University of Mannheim. I studied Gerontology in Amsterdam as well as Sociology in Mannheim and Berlin, where I was also employed as a student assistant at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW). |
